Experts Reveal Best Spring Break Destinations for Families with Kids

Moscow, March 27 – Tourists surveyed by the online service identified the most popular ways to travel with children during spring break, according to MTS Travel.

The company’s specialists conducted a study of thousands of users and found out that every third family is going on a trip. At the same time, 95 percent of them plan trips around the Russian Federation, and 18 percent are going to explore the sights of their region.

Most often, tourists chose to rest in the Krasnodar Territory – 14 percent of respondents go there. Thirteen percent of users want to visit the Altai Territory, St. Petersburg – eight percent, Moscow and Tatarstan – seven percent each.

The majority of respondents (42 percent) expect to spend between 15,000 and 30,000 rubles on vacation. Another 33 percent are willing to pay for a trip from 30 to 100 thousand rubles. Fifteen percent of tourists plan to meet an amount of up to 15 thousand rubles, ten percent of travelers can spend more than 100 thousand rubles.

The top three leading foreign countries in terms of the number of planned vacation trips include Abkhazia, Belarus and Egypt. Budgets for holidays abroad are expected to be even higher: 67 percent plan to spend from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, and the rest of the respondents are ready for significant expenses, experts of the online service said.
