Moscow, April 9 – UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal has announced his retirement.
On Sunday, Masvidal lost by unanimous decision to Brazilian Gilbert Burns at UFC 287, which is being held in Miami. This defeat is the fourth in a row for the Americans.

Masvidal, 38, has fought twice for the UFC welterweight title, but lost both times to Nigerian-American Kamar Usman. He is the author of the fastest knockout in the history of the promotion, which he scored in a duel with compatriot Ben Askren (5 seconds). In mixed martial arts, he has 35 victories and 17 defeats.
