Saudi club Al Hilal are gearing up to compete in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco from 1 to 11 February as champions of the latest AFC Champions League.

Al-Hilal has been selected by the AFC to play in the Club World Cup as the champions of the latest AFC Champions League in light of the current Champions League season not ending.

The list, selected by Argentinean Al Hilal manager Ramon Diaz, showed the impressive absence of many key elements due to injury.

And it was confirmed that the trio, Salman Al-Faraj, Hamad Al-Iliami and Muhammad Al-Burayk, were absent from the Club World Cup due to various injuries or lack of fitness.

Below is Al-Hilal’s roster for the 2023 Club World Cup:

For Goalkeepers: Muhammad Al-Owais, Abdullah Al-Mayouf, Habib Al-Watyan.

Defensive line: Ali Al Bulaikhi, Saud Abdul Hamid, Jang Hyun-soo, Mutaib Al Mufarrezh, Muhammad Al Khaybari, Khalifa Al Dosari, Muhammad Jahfali.

Midfield: Muhammad Kno, Luciano Vito, Gustavo Cuellar, Abdullah Atif, Musab Al Juwayr, Michel Delgado, Moaz Faqihi, Muhammad Al Qahtani.

Attack line: Salem Al-Dosari, Odion Ighalo, Musa Marega, Saleh Al-Shehri, Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

Al-Hilal Club will begin their career in the FIFA Club World Cup by facing Moroccan organizer Wydad Casablanca on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. sharp Mecca Al-Mukarram time.

The winner of this match advances to the semi-finals on February 7, 2023 against the Brazilian Flamengo, champion of South America.

Morocco will host the 19th FIFA Club World Cup 2022 between February 1 and 11, 2023, which will be attended by 7 teams, including three Arab clubs, namely: Moroccan Vidad, Al Ahly from Egypt and “Al-Ahli” from Egypt. Hilal from Saudi Arabia, as well as the Spanish Real Madrid, the Brazilian Flamengo, the New Zealand Auckland City and the American Seattle Sounders.
