“FIFA” solves the issue of “crisis” Kahraba with Zamalek
FIFA has taken a new decision regarding Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba, an Egyptian player from Al Ahli, following hearings held by the Disciplinary Committee over the player’s crisis at Zamalek club.
FIFA has decided to give Kahraba a two-month deadline to pay the fine imposed on him by the Zamalek club in the amount of $2 million, in addition to annual interest of 5% of the amount as of July 20, 2019.
FIFA confirmed that if Kahraba fails to pay by the due date, Kahraba will be penalized with a 6-month suspension.
The International Federation also decided to fine Mahmoud Kahrab CHF 30,000, to be paid within one month from the date of notification of the new decision.
Kahraba returned from a 6-month ban last January and has featured with Al Ahly in a number of Premier League and Egyptian Cup matches, in addition to the Club World Cup in Morocco.
The crisis between the player and the club began due to his departure from the White Fortress and transfer to the Portuguese club Deportivo Avis, despite the validity of his contract with Zamalek.
Mahmoud Kahraba left Zamalek in the summer of 2019 without the approval of his club’s management, despite the length of his contract, to move to Deportivo Avis before he terminated his contract with the Portuguese club and returned to Egypt in January 2020 from Al Ahli Gate. in free translation.
