ULAN-UDE, May 14 – The roof of an unused building on Kuibyshev Street in the center of Ulan-Ude is burning on a total area of ​​\u200b\u200babout 150 square meters. There is a risk that the fire will spread to the kindergarten warehouse, reports the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the management, a message about the fire in the building was received at the Central Fire Communications Center at 19.46 (14.46 Moscow time). Firefighting teams immediately rushed to the scene.

“According to preliminary data, the roof of an area of ​​about 150 square meters caught fire. There are no casualties. There is a threat of it moving to the kindergarten’s warehouse,” the report said.

The building is not currently in use. 23 people and six pieces of equipment work to extinguish the fire.
