Fire Stopped in Multifunctional Building Near Bryansk

Moscow, March 7 – Open burning has been eliminated in a multifunctional building in the village of Novi Darkovichi near Bryansk, according to Russia’s Emergencies Ministry.

The fire occurred in a building with a bathhouse, a cafe, a service and a pharmacy in the village of Novy Darkovichi near Bryansk, and the area of ​​fire was 1.6 thousand square meters.

“At 23.57 hours the open fire was extinguished,” the message reads.

Earlier, the regional prosecutor’s office reported that, according to preliminary data, the cause of the fire in a multifunctional building in Bryansk was a short circuit in a shawarma cafe.

No one was hurt in the fire, said Vadim Ovarkin, head of Russia’s GUMCHS for the Bryansk region.
