Five NATO-grade shells fired at Donetsk’s Kievsky neighborhood by Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Donetsk, April 8 – At 23:15, Ukrainian forces fired five 155-mm “NATO” shells at Kievsky district of Donetsk, said the representative office of the DRC at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine.
“A fire was recorded on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) In the direction: 23.15 – the settlement of Orlovka – the city of Donetsk (Kiev district): five 155-mm shells were fired, the representative office said in the Telegram channel.
The Kiev region of Donetsk is located in the northern part of the city.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range 155-mm howitzers M777, which are actively used by Ukrainian forces for shelling the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
