Cairo, February 19 – Five people were killed in an Israeli attack on the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen TV, quoting a source in the Syrian Ministry of Health.
Earlier, a source in the Syrian capital’s police told the News Agency that a residential area in southern Damascus was subjected to a missile attack and at least one residential building was damaged. The director of Al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus, Ahmed Abbas, told Al-Watan newspaper that the hospital had received the bodies of three dead and two wounded. He indicated that the condition of the injured is stable.
