Dr. Mikhail Ginzburg, a Russian nutrition expert, said that controlling blood cholesterol levels helps prevent many serious health problems.
In an interview with the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper, the expert notes that there are products that help lower blood cholesterol levels.
According to him, there are four groups of nutrients that help normalize blood composition and maintain blood cholesterol levels. These materials:
Foods rich in dietary fiber. These products include: whole grain bread, buckwheat, fruits, fruits and vegetables.
And he adds, explaining: Dietary fiber binds bile acids in the intestine and prevents them from being absorbed, which forces the body to look for another source of cholesterol for cells. Thanks to this, “bad” cholesterol is converted into “good”.
