Moscow, February 6 – Former member of the board of directors of Spartak Moscow, Alexander Atamanenko, has been appointed executive director of the Football National League (FNL), according to the official website of the organization responsible for holding the championship of the first and second leagues.
Previously, the position of Atamanenko was held by the former Spartak official, Nail Ismailov, who is now the head of the Russian Premier League.

Atamanenko held the position of commercial director of Spartak from 2014 to 2019, as well as in 2020 and 2021. In addition, he was a member of the board of directors of “Red and White”. Before joining Spartak, the employee was the general director of the Donbass Arena in Donetsk. Since mid-2021, Atamanenko has been the general director of Arena Omsk, which was put into operation after reconstruction in the fall of 2022.
