Former Russian National Team Coach Defends Lokomotiv Striker Artem Dzyuba
Leonid Slutsky, the former head coach of the Russian national team, recently came to the defense of Moscow’s “Lokomotiv” striker Artem Dzyuba. This came after Dzyuba threatened a journalist following a match in the fourth round of the Russian football championship.
During the match against Samara’s Krylia Sovetov, which ended in a draw (1:1), Dzyuba was unable to play due to an injury. However, after the game, the 34-year-old engaged in an altercation with a journalist, warning him that he would take action if the journalist approached him again.
