Moscow, March 21 – Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic may be suspended until the end of the season, according to The Times.
In the quarter-finals of the FA Cup against Manchester United (1: 3), Mitrović received a red card for pushing the referee.
According to the source, the English Football Association deemed the three-match ban imposed as a result of this insufficient. The president of the Referees Association demanded a ban of 10 matches or more over the club’s possible loss of the striker before the end of the season.
