Gazprom and Uzbekistan signed a roadmap for cooperation

The Russian gas company Gazprom announced that its CEO Alexei Miller and Uzbek Energy Minister Churapek Mirzam Makhmudov signed a roadmap for cooperation in the gas industry.
The statement of the Russian company, published today, on Tuesday, in the Telegram application says: “Alexey Miller had a working meeting with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gurabek Mirzam Makhmudov. The parties discussed current and future cooperation. At the meeting, the parties signed a roadmap for cooperation in the gas sector.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak indicated that Russia was exploring the possibility of creating a “gas union” with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to support supplies between the three countries and other energy buyers.
