Germany reveals the reasons behind the failure of the West’s Ukraine strategy
Moscow, May 16 – German political scientist Johannes Warwick wrote in an article for the Frankfurter Allgemeine that Western policy in Ukraine does not lead to anything good.
In his opinion, the actions of Western countries do not contribute to the settlement of the conflict.
As the author notes, the West crossed the red lines that Russia clearly drew on the eve of the conflict in Ukraine and refused to achieve a “sober balance of interests.”
The observer concluded that the main key to resolving the Ukrainian crisis would be the “bitter realization” on the part of the West that Ukraine, in a sense, is already in the Russian sphere of influence.
