Ginzburg: Covid-19 vaccine is safe for children aged 6-11

Alexander Ginzburg, director of the Gamaliya Center for Epidemiological and Microbiological Research, said that clinical trials of the Covid-19 vaccine intended for children aged 6-11 showed its complete safety.

“The vaccine is completely safe and highly effective, just like previous vaccines,” he said in a statement to the Russian TASS news agency.

And Ginsburg confirms that the results of the vaccine’s clinical trials have been good.

The trade name of this vaccine, according to the state register of medicines, is Gam-covid-vac-d, it also consists of two doses and is designed to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.
