Dr. Anzhelika Duval, a Russian nutritionist, advises anyone suffering from joint problems to refrain from eating sweets and nightshade products.
The expert points out that those who suffer from joint problems should avoid potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes and bell peppers from their diet as they stimulate arthritis.
In addition, they should stop eating sweets, as they also stimulate inflammatory processes in the body.
“People who overeat simple carbohydrates, refined sugars, pastries and sweets, and processed foods are more likely to develop various infections, including arthritis,” she says.
And adds: Excess weight also puts additional stress on the joints, which leads to their destruction. Therefore, it is better to get rid of extra pounds.
According to her, to maintain joint health, it is necessary to add collagen-rich foods to food. You should also eat oily fish at least twice a week. Fresh vegetables are also the best source of organic calcium that nourishes the joints.
She adds: Ginger and turmeric have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Therefore, the use of them in the diet reduces the level of inflammation.
