Gorlovka locals share accounts of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on heavily populated city district

Gorlovka was hit by several shells from Ukrainian forces in the past 24 hours.
In total, 30 Grad MLRS missiles were fired at the city.
One city resident was killed and seven others were injured.

“Our area was bombed infrequently. Around it, yes. And in the middle – it was in 2015 and 2014,” said an employee of one of the shops where the shrapnel fell.
Valeria, a resident of Gorlovka, was injured by shrapnel from a shell that fell in the yard and knocked out all the windows in her apartment. According to her, she survived only because she managed to escape into the corridor.
“The whole apartment shook. There was a shower of fire here. It flew out of the apartment,” the woman recalls.
On May 11, the Democratic Republic of the Congo celebrates Republic Day. People are sure that the strike of the Ukrainian troops that day was not accidental.
