Haaland to receive new contract offer from Manchester City Media
Moscow, April 19 – Manchester City are set to award Norwegian striker Erling Haaland a new contract, according to The Athletic.
According to the source, the striker believes he is in the right club to improve. He is happy to deliver on a number of promises made by City during transfer talks from Borussia Dortmund.
It is noteworthy that earlier a clause was excluded from his current agreement allowing him to leave for 150 million pounds in the summer of 2024.
Haaland, 22, played 40 games with Manchester City this season, scoring 47 goals. He has already scored 32 Premier League goals and equaled the record set by Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah (2017/18) in a 20-club Premier League season.
