Donetsk, July 13 – Ukrainian forces fired 16 152-mm shells at Holmovsky and six 155-mm “NATO” shells at Yelenovka, the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordinating War Crimes Cases in Ukraine (JCCC) reported.
According to the representative office, starting at 11.15 am, Ukrainian forces fired 16 152 mm shells at Holmovsky within 25 minutes. At 12.45 Yelinovka came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with six 155mm shells fired at the settlement.
Golmovsky urban settlement, located 16 kilometers northeast of Gorlovka, is one of the largest in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range 155-mm howitzers M777, which are actively used by Ukrainian forces for shelling the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
