Holyfield vs Tyson: Tyson Throws Down the Gauntlet.

Moscow, April 18 – American Mike Tyson, the former undisputed world boxing champion in the heavyweight category, said that he would not mind facing compatriot Evander Holyfield.
Tyson is 56 years old. During his career, he spent 58 fights, won 50 victories (44 by knockout), suffered six defeats, and declared two fights invalid. Tyson held his last fight in the professional ring on June 11, 2005 – then he lost to Irish boxer Kevin McBride.

Holyfield is 60 years old, and he is the former undisputed heavyweight and heavyweight champion of the world. During his professional career, he played 57 matches, in which he won 44 victories (29 by knockout), suffered 10 defeats, two matches ended in a draw, and one was declared null. Holyfield held his last fight in the professional ring on May 7, 2011 – then he defeated the Danish American Brian Nielsen.
The first fight between Tyson and Holyfield took place on November 9, 1996, and ended with the latter’s victory by technical knockout in the 11th round. Revenge took place on June 28, 1997, and the fight also ended with Holyfield’s victory, and Tyson lost after being disqualified due to a bite on his opponent’s ear.
