Izhevsk, December 27 – The head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov told the News Agency that the increase in prices for Lada cars in Russia in 2023 will be much lower than the expected inflation.
Inflation at the level of 5-7% is the current estimate of the Central Bank for the coming year. The Ministry of Economic Development expects it at the level of 5.5%.
“So far, we have assumed that price growth is less than inflation … There is less expectation of inflation and much less,” he said in response to a question about the prices of the brand’s cars in 2023.
