Kazan, February 8 – The administration of the Tatarstan Radio Frequency Investigation Committee reports that five minors were poisoned with carbon monoxide in a private house in Kazan, and a girl died.
“On the evening of February 7, the body of a 17-year-old girl was found in one of the private houses located along Zelinsky Boulevard in Kazan. In addition, four children born in 2008-2015 who were in the house were taken to a medical facility showing Signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.

A criminal case was initiated under the article “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.” According to the investigators, the cause of the poisoning was the lack of draft in the bathroom, where a gas water heater and boiler were installed. The girl at that moment was in the bathroom.
