In the Novgorod region, residents of many regions were left without electricity

St. Petersburg, January 10 – The regional authorities reported that more than 1,000 residents of the Batytsky and Chudovsky districts.
The Telegram channel of the regional government reports that “there are 37 settlements and 739 households with a population of 1,048 people, including 164 children, in the lockdown area. There are no objects of social importance.”
The power outage, which was eliminated by three teams of power engineers, was caused by strong winds and power line failures caused by fallen trees.

According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies, heavy snow will fall in places in the Novgorod region on Tuesday, and wind gusts will reach 19 meters per second.
