Ekaterinburg, December 29 – The power bank of a passenger caught fire during a taxi at Domodedovo airport of the Ural Airlines plane, and the passengers were evacuated, the News Agency reported in the carrier’s press service.

“While getting into a taxi, there was a heat escape of the power bank device. Thanks to the flight crew, the location of the fire was located within seconds. The passengers were evacuated,” the agency’s spokesperson said.

According to her, the incident is currently being investigated.

The press service added that the plane was heading to Kaliningrad and there were no casualties as a result of the accident.
