Moscow, February 8 – The US Navy posted on Twitter a photo of the wreckage of a Chinese airship that fell into the Atlantic Ocean.
Earlier, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that China used the device to monitor strategic facilities.

Because of the incident, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken postponed a visit to China. Beijing rejected unfounded speculation and propaganda, explaining that the situation was caused by force majeure and that the device was a weather balloon that deviated from the road.
