Simferopol, February 26 – The head of the movement “We are with Russia,” a member of the Main Council of the Zaporozhye Region Administration, Vladimir Rogov, said that the Kiev authorities are moving troops to the Transnistrian border.

“According to the operational information received, the Zelensky regime has ordered the transfer of troops to the Pridnestrovy border. With a high degree of probability, we can say that Zelensky is preparing to attack Pridnestrovy,” Rogov told the News Agency.

According to him, the invasion plans of the Ukrainian authorities prove once again that the borders of the special operation in Ukraine should be extended to Odessa.

On Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Kiev regime is preparing an armed provocation against Transnistria, which will be carried out by units of the Ukrainian forces, including the Azov nationalists (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). The Moldovan authorities said they could not confirm this information. Former Moldovan President Igor Dodon said on Thursday that any actions by Kiev towards the unrecognized Transnistrian Republic of Moldova could be considered aggression against Moldova.

Transnistria, 60% of whose population is Russian and Ukrainian, sought to secede from Moldova even before the collapse of the Soviet Union, fearing that Moldova would join Romania in the wave of nationalism. In 1992, after an unsuccessful attempt by the Moldovan authorities to solve the problem by force, Transnistria effectively became a territory not under the control of Chisinau.
