Insight into the State of Energodar: The Mayor’s Perspective

ENERGODAR, May 19 – The head of the city administration, Eduard Sinovoz, told the News Agency that there are enough forces and means to ensure security in Energodar, Zaporozhye region, and no reinforcements are planned.

Earlier, the authorities of the Zaporozhye region decided on a temporary voluntary relocation of residents of the city due to the deteriorating situation on the contact line and the threat of shelling by Ukrainian militants.

“The forces and means in the city to ensure the safety of lives are sufficient at the moment, such reinforcements are not expected for the simple reason that they are not needed yet, everything is under control, and the situation in the city is normal without problems,” Sinovoz said in response to the relevant question.
