Instructions given to Mishustin to form an organizing committee for celebrating Artek’s centennial anniversary.

Moscow, April 18 – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the creation of an organizing committee for the preparation and celebration of the centenary of the Artek children’s camp, and the corresponding document was published on the official legal information portal on the Internet.

The organizing committee included Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, appointed head of the organizing committee, Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, who became deputy chairman of the committee, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin, head of the presidential department. For general projects Sergey Novikov, director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko.

The committee for the anniversary celebration of the camp also included Deputy Head of the Ministry of Sports of Russia Odes Baislanov, First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education Alexander Bugaev, Executive Secretary. In addition, the members included the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Lilia Gumirov, Deputy Chairman of the Ministry of Economic Development Tatyana Ilyushnikova, Chairman of the Education Duma Committee Olga Kazakova, First Deputy General Director of the All-Russian State Broadcasting and Television Company Andrei Kondrashov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Magomedislam Magomedov, Deputy Chairman of Roskosmos ”Maxim Ovchinnikov, Chairman of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina and others.

In November, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Artek International Children’s Center in 2025 and instructed the Council of Ministers to form an organizing committee to prepare and celebrate the centenary of Artek and to approve its composition, as well as to ensure approval of the main events plan.
