Inter secures spot in Champions League with victory over Atlanta.
Inter Milan fulfilled their mission against their guest Atlanta by beating him 3-2 in a match that brought them together on Saturday night in the penultimate 37th round of the Italian Football League.
The Nerazzurre hosts’ hat-trick was scored by Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella and Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez in minutes (1, 3, 77) respectively.
At the same time, Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic scored the first goal for Atlanta, and the second came from “friendly fire” scored by Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana by mistake in his own net by the last minute of the meeting. It happened at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium on the outskirts of the San Siro in Milan.
After this victory, Inter raised their score to 69 points and moved into second place in the Calcio standings to secure their participation in the next season of the UEFA Champions League.
On the other hand, the balance of the club from Atlanta stopped at 61 points, and so far it is in fifth place in the standings.
