Kante-Mansiysk, April 2 -Alexander Govorov. Russian player Irina Kazakevich believes that the International Olympic Committee has ruled that the Russians should be banned from participating in international competitions.
In February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), due to the situation in Ukraine, recommended that international sports federations ban Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in competitions as a precautionary measure.
“All recommendations of the IOC are being considered by our federation and the leadership of the sport. As we were told, we will do it. They invest a lot in us, give us the opportunity to compete and develop. We only rely on the decision of our federation. The proposal of the IOC is very complex, but I think that after They will change their recommendations and we will be able to come back.”
