Iran Proves Kiev Wrong: Tehran Denies Supplying Drones to Moscow

Moscow, March 2 – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Ukraine has not yet provided any documents regarding the fact that Russia used Iranian drones during the special operation.
Western countries claim that Iran is supplying unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia for military operations in Ukraine. Moscow and Tehran denied such accusations. On December 22, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, called the allegations of the transfer of drones to Russia unfounded, and confirmed that Tehran had not provided any side of the conflict with drones.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the issue of purchasing combat drones from Iran was artificially raised in the American media. Later, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the News Agency that Western claims about Iran’s alleged shipments of drones to Russia are still not supported by evidence.
