Bahadri Jahromi highlighted the government’s commitment to logical and clear diplomatic language. Despite facing challenges in international financial transactions, Iran has managed to achieve remarkable commercial accomplishments.
Positive Economic Indicators
The Iranian government’s economic measures, directed by First Vice President Ibrahim Raisi, have yielded positive results. These include controlling inflation in most sectors, reducing the unemployment rate to below 9%, reopening thousands of closed or semi-closed workshops, achieving a 4% economic growth, and implementing other constructive measures. The government has also made considerable efforts to reduce inflation due to the budget deficit of 480 billion tomans at the beginning of their term in 2021.
Addressing Water Issues
In response to recent developments regarding Iran’s rights to the Harmand River’s waters on the Afghanistan border, Bahadri Jahromi assured that the Islamic Republic is actively addressing this issue. Additionally, they are exploring various solutions to resolve water problems in the region, including extracting deep water and transferring water from the Persian Gulf.
