Moscow, April 4 – Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina did not shake hands with Russia’s Anna Kalinskaya after the match of the first round of the tournament in Charleston (USA).
Kalinskaya beat Kalinina on Monday with a score of 7: 6 (8: 6), 6: 4. At the end of the meeting, the Russian woman approached the net for a traditional handshake, but the Ukrainian woman immediately went to collect her things. Kalinskaya shook hands with the judge and went to her chair.
