Karpin named in the FIFA vote the best Ancelotti and Messi

Moscow, February 28 – The coach of the Russian national football team, Valery Karpin, in the FIFA vote for the best coach and footballer of the year 2022, made his choice in favor of Real Madrid President Carlo Ancelotti and the French striker of Paris Saint-Germain. With the Argentine national team Lionel Messi, the results of the vote are published on the official FIFA website.

On Monday, the FIFA Awards Ceremony took place in Paris. The best coach of the year was named the president of the Argentine national team, Lionel Scaloni, and the best player – Messi.

Among the top three players, Karpin also included French Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, Paris Saint-Germain striker and the French national team Kylian Mbappe. In the vote for the best coach, Karbin placed Josep Guardiola (Manchester City) in second place and Didier Deschamps (France national team) in third place.

And the captain of the Russian national team and Spartak Moscow, Georgy Dzhekia, chose Mbappe as the best player, including Messi and Benzema in the top three. The defender was awarded the title of best coach for Deschamps, and Gikia placed Moroccan national team coach Walid Rekraji in second place and Ancelotti in third place.
