Keanu Reeves Reveals His Top Pick for an MCU Role He’s Eager to Play

Keanu Reeves has said which Marvel character he’d like to play the most in the MCU. Even though the famous actor from “The Matrix” and “John Wick” has talked to Marvel Studios in the past, he hasn’t been cast as an Avenger or in any other role in the MCU yet. But he seems eager for one hero in particular, so it looks like it will only be a matter of time.

When Reeves did an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Reddit to promote John Wick: Chapter 4, he was asked if there was ever a role he regretted not taking. Even though Keanu said there wasn’t, he did say which Marvel hero he’s always wanted to play:

Reeves has already hinted that he wants to play Wolverine. It’s exciting to see him go all in, especially since Marvel Studios now owns the X-Men franchise and has already started putting mutants in the MCU. But Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, and Ryan Reynolds will be back as Wade Wilson in the multiverse. Reeves might get his start as Weapon X in the main MCU later on.
