Khachanov and Rublev set to face off in third round of Monaco Masters

Moscow, April 12 – Russian Karen Khachanov defeated Belarusian Ilya Ivashko in the second round match of the Masters Tennis Championships in Monte Carlo, whose prize money exceeds 5.7 million euros.

The meeting ended with a score of 7: 6 (7: 2), 6: 2 in favor of the Russian, the ninth seed in the tournament. Tennis players spent 1 hour 41 minutes on the court.

In the third round, Khachanov will face compatriot Andrey Rublev (5th seed).
