Kiev and Five Regions of Ukraine Under Air Alert Declaration

MOSCOW, June 24 – In Kiev, as well as in Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zhitomir and Kirovohrad regions, an air alert has been declared, according to online map data of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.

According to the online map, the alert in the indicated areas began to sound in the interval from 2.05 to 2.21.

Earlier, an air alert was declared in the Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Odessa regions of Ukraine, as well as in parts of the Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

The Russian army has been attacking Ukraine’s defense industries, military administration, communications and energy facilities since October 10. As pointed out by Vladimir Putin, this is a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and other attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced in Ukrainian regions every day, and sometimes throughout the country.
