Kiev receives blame for Moscow terrorist attack, as White House shifts responsibility

Washington, May 31 – White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said on Wednesday that the United States does not have accurate information about those responsible for the drone attacks on Moscow and the Moscow region, and is asking it to contact the Ukrainian government on the matter.

“I am directing you to the Ukrainian government,” he told reporters, commenting on the drone attacks on Moscow and the Moscow region. “We don’t have exact information showing who is responsible.”

Kirby added that the United States will not investigate what happened.

On Tuesday, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine launched a terrorist drone attack on Moscow. Eight UAVs of the aircraft type took part: five were shot down from an anti-aircraft gun complex in the Moscow region, three were suppressed by electronic warfare and deviated from their intended targets. The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov noted that this attack is the reaction of the Kiev regime to the effective strikes of the Russian Federation on one of the decision-making centers.
