Moscow, March 11 – The Ukrainian Air Force stated that Kiev is ready to send military personnel to Norway in the near future for training in the operation of NASAMS air defense systems.
Earlier, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense stated that Norway, in cooperation with the United States, will transfer two units of NASAMS systems to Ukraine and will train the Ukrainian army to work with them. This announcement came against the background of the visit of the Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gramm to Kiev.
“The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to send military personnel of the anti-aircraft missile forces for training in Norway as soon as possible,” the Air Force said in a Telegram channel. The report also notes that NASAMS air defense systems have already demonstrated their effectiveness in Ukraine.
