Klopp reveals who is responsible for Liverpool’s resounding defeat at Brighton
Liverpool manager German Jurgen Klopp has claimed responsibility for his team’s resounding three-goal drop against Brighton with no answer yesterday, Saturday, on matchday 20 of the English Premier League.
Klopp said after the match: “We tried to help the players with different tactics, but it didn’t work. This is my responsibility and I know it.”
He added: “I am very disappointed. Congratulations to Brighton on a great match against a bad opponent. The team wasn’t very good today and I can’t remember a single good period in the meeting.”
And he continued: “To play better than today is an easy thing, because this is the worst possible, the worst match for us, I don’t remember.”
Liverpool continued their disappointing results this season, suffering their sixth defeat in the English Premier League and their second consecutive loss, dropping to eighth in the league table.
This situation is Liverpool’s worst in the league after 18 matches since Klopp took over in 2015.
