Moscow, April 22 – The director of the tournament in Czech Ostrava, Thomas Petera, said that the possibility of holding the Kremlin Cup in 2023 is zero, and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) will decide the date of the Moscow tournament in the next two or three weeks.
In March 2022, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the WTA canceled the 2022 Kremlin Cup due to the situation in Ukraine. In November of the same year, the WTA did not include tournaments in Russia in the provisional calendar for 2023.
