The meeting, which took place in Winnipeg, ended with a score of 4: 2 (1: 1, 1: 1, 2: 0) in favor of the hosts. As part of the winners, Pierre-Luc Dubois (20th and 28th minutes) scored a brace, Kyle Connor (46) and Morgan Baron (59) also scored goals.
