Moscow, January 21 – Russian athlete Larisa Kuklina won the pursuit race at the fourth stage of the Commonwealth Cup, which is being held in Raubice (Belarus).
Koklina covered a distance of 10 km in 31 minutes and 0.6 seconds, with two steps. The second was Ekaterina Noskova (lag – 35.9 seconds; 3 fouls). Belarusian Dinara Alimpekova (+53.5; 4) took third place.
The men’s hunt will take place on Saturday. The stage of the Commonwealth Cup with the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus will be held in Raubecci from January 19 to 22.
The International Biathlon Union (IBU) congress decided in September to support the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until further notice amid the situation in Ukraine.
