Kuwaiti dinar sets records against Egyptian pound

The price of the Kuwaiti dinar in Egypt rose significantly during trading on Thursday after a significant decline in the value of the Egyptian pound against foreign currencies.

Today, Thursday 5 January 2023, the price of the Kuwaiti dinar bounced from 1.93 to 2.25 pounds as buying rose to 88.3876 pounds and sales rose to 88.7104 pounds.

Yesterday, on Wednesday, the price of the Kuwaiti dinar fixed 86.1387 pounds when buying and 86.4552 pounds when selling.

The rise in the dinar came after the announcement of a new savings certificate with a 25% yield, at a time when the International Monetary Fund approved a $3 billion loan to Egypt, and the decision of the Central Bank to raise interest rates by 300 basis points. or 3%.
