Kvyat Ranked Ninth and Shvartsman Fifth in Formula E Rookie Tests

Moscow, April 24 – Russian pilot Robert Schwartzman demonstrated for the fifth time in the Formula E rookie tests, which took place in Berlin.
Brazilian Felipe Drugovich (Maserati MSG Racing Team) showed the best lap – 1 minute 5.509 seconds. France’s Victor Martins (Nissan; 0.101 seconds behind) was second, and Britain’s Zane Maloney (Avalanche Andretti; +0.110) was third.
Schwartzman (DS Penske), who is competing under an Israeli racing licence, was 0.414 seconds behind. Russian driver Daniil Kvyat (NIO 333 Racing; +0.503) finished ninth.

Schwarzmann, 23, is the 2019 Formula 3 champion and 2021 Formula 2 silver medalist. In 2023, he becomes a reserve driver for Ferrari.
Kvyat is the most successful Russian driver in Formula 1 history. He has three podiums, one fastest lap and 202 points. The Russian was a pilot for Formula 1 teams from 2013 to 2017, and also from 2019 to 2020.
