Kyiv Region’s UOC Church Destroyed by Fire

Moscow, April 14 – The state emergency department in the region said on Friday that the Church of St. Matrona of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church burned down in a village in the Kiev region, and the causes of the fire are being determined.
“On April 13 at 20.50 (coinciding with Moscow time – ed.), the operational dispatch service of the Vyshgorodsky district received a message about the fire of the church of St. Matrona in the village of Guta-Mezhigorskaya of the Petrovsky regional UG … the entire district, ”says Government Emergency Service website.
It is noteworthy that the fire was located and was eliminated within half an hour. There were no injuries or deaths and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
