Moscow, January 24 – Peter Laviolette, head coach of the Washington Capitals, did not rule out that team captain Alexander Ovechkin could take part in the next regular season game of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the Colorado Avalanche.
On Sunday, Ovechkin missed the 6-2 win over Vegas with a lower body injury. Later, the Russian returned to training with the club in Denver, where “Washington” will play on Wednesday night, Moscow time, against “Colorado”.
