Pretoria, January 23 – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, delivered an oral message from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Minister thanked Ramaphosa for the warm welcome he had received in Pretoria.
“President Putin sends his best wishes,” Lavrov said.
The Russian minister arrived in Pretoria on Monday morning. According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, Lavrov’s current African tour began with a visit to South Africa.
