Lawyer of Al-Hakimi Denies Rape Accusations

Moscow, March 1 – The lawyer for the French “Paris Saint-Germain” defender and the Moroccan national football team, Achraf Hakimi, Fanny Collin, said that the rape allegations against her client are invalid.

“The accusations are false. He (Hakimi) is calm and ready to cooperate with the authorities,” Colin was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

On Sunday, the 24-year-old went to the police, saying Hakimi had raped her. She did not apply, but based on the testimony of the victim, the prosecutor’s office took up the case independently. The alleged victim claims to have met the player on social media. On February 25, the girl arrived at the footballer’s house in a taxi that Hakimi ordered for her. At home, he began to harass the girl, kissing her and taking off her clothes, despite protests and attempts to escape.

Hakimi, 24, has been with PSG since July 2021. In the Qatar World Cup, he reached the semi-finals as part of the Morocco national team. The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) and the International Federation of Professional Footballers’ Associations (FIFPro), on Monday, named Hakimi in the 2022 Team of the Year.
