Moscow, December 29 – Liverpool Football Club announced on its official website that it had reached an agreement with Dutch club PSV for the transfer of striker Cody Jaco.

Gakpo will officially become a player in the England team in January 2023 after agreeing to contract terms, passing a medical and obtaining a work permit. The 23-year-old Dutchman will wear number 18 for Liverpool.

Both clubs did not mention the cost of transferring a football player, while PSV general manager Marcel Brands previously indicated that the amount would be a record for the team.

Gakpo is a graduate of PSV Eindhoven, has made 159 appearances for the club, scoring 55 goals and providing 50 assists.
